Chapter 3- Mic walks right into the trap

The day was gloomy and it seemed that showers were going to make the day even duller in a couple of minutes. Mic came out of a steamy bath, his tattoo in the right elbow was a dragon giving out fire, he was wondering where all the fire in him vanished. "May be, you took it with you July" smiled at himself in the mirror, Michael and he dressed up.

"It was really kind of you to have come in and checked on me personally, chief" thanked Robert and that was the last moment, the chief saw the trio of Sarah, Robert and Steve and he was off, back to Los Angeles. "We have to be ready for Micheal" said Sarah and the guys looked at each other with vengeance in their eyes.

"You sure about it? Huh...Yeah great...Mail me the details as soon as you can" and he was off the phone, Michael. He was reading the file about Robert and why had he been in the trial in the first place. He was accused of the murder and an assault of a doctor. The name of the doctor and any further detail was not there to be found.

"After we avenge the death of my sister, you better take Anna with you and take break at Hawaii" said Steve. "We can do nothing about the past, for it had happened...So we better work on this Micheal guy and get this thing over with" fumed Sarah who was a friend of Kristen, Robert's wife.

Michael reached the office and started scanning the files to get deeper into the case. Then after searching like a hyena for dead flesh, Michael got around the files he was looking for. The mere sight of the name of the hospital gave him an unusual and sudden shock in him. He told himself "I hope, this doesn't get as messy as the last time"

The whole office was aware that the chief had come back and no one knew where he actually went. "Any leads on the case, Mic?" asked the chief and Mic replied nothing. "I need to speak to Steven Goodwin, Robert's brother in law" said Michael after an hour. "So what's stallng you, get to Vegas and start your interrogation immediately" said the chief.

Mic was a little taken aback by the enthusiasm but was convinced that the case's importance had taken the best out of the chief and he would want it to be over soon more than anythone else in the world. When Michael left the office, the chief called Steve and informed that Mic is on his way. The mood at Vegas was good as the hunter was going to be hunted this time.
