Dragons aint bad !!!

Review : How to train your dragon

Its not even ten minutes since I finished watching the movie and here I am writing about it. The movie is a thorough entertainer right from the beginning to the end. The animation is genre but it is one of the movies which the whole family can enjoy.

plot

Vikings think dragon should be driven away so they can live in peace but the hero finds an alternate solution.

A "good feel" movie

The hero Hiccup finds an unlikely friend in Toothless the "Night Fury" dragon and finds out that dragons are not entirely fearsome and there is something that drives the dragons and sets out to put an end to this mess. The hero without his liking being forced to train to become a dragon slayer and the gang with him is hilarious and she has a girl (duh...there has to be a girl somewhere to slow down the movie :)) Toothless is too cute to be a fiery dragon and they could have worked a little more to make the dragon look a little more "drangon-y" (even my girl friend's dogs are more scary :D) But as a whole, the movie is great and don't miss to catch it in 3d if you get a chance.

C for Sarcasm

I have been a huge fan of Sarcasm all through my life and two names, to be precise two characters that come up in my mind when I hear this word are Charlie Harper and Chandler Bing. They are the best at the business when it comes to responding to a person with a sarcastic yet funny(for them obviously) comment.

Charlie Harper(Played by Charlie Sheen) is the lead character in the hit sitcom "Two and A half Men" and although I have been through only one season, is all but awe for the guy. This guy is full of nonchalant comments and they are really fun. I am personally a big fan of Sheen after his good shows in the spoofs Hot Shots 1 & 2. Its really hard to make a comment that is enjoyable by everyone and this one makes it with absolute ease.

Now coming to the big one...My personal favourite and indomitable Chandler Bing and the name says it all. If Sarcasm is a religion, he surely is its god. In his venture as Chandler in the smash hit sitcom Friends, Matt Perry won many a hearts and the guy is simply amazing. There are just too many famous dialogues and they are equally good. I miss Friends just because of Chandler.
Body Language, timing, teen jokes, dance and you name anything and this guy has it all. He is just the best when it comes to being sarcastic. His movies with Bruce Willis weren't bad
too.

Looking forward to many more fun moments with the 2 "C"s :)

A Television Show cant get any Bigger than this

Am back with a review again and this time, it's the television show - "LOST". The beginning of the pilot itself was intriguing and I had no second opinion that this show will be nothing but a smash hit and it turned out to be one. The first attempt to see lost went in vain for me coz there was too many flashbacks in an episode (I later started enjoying the flashbacks)

So after some time I gave it another shot and there was no turning back for me this time. I was so hooked to this show, i completed 4 seasons in a week. 75 episodes with 45 minutes in each one, I was on a roll (exams naasama pochu, obviously :))

The show revolves around the 48 survivors of the plane OCEANIC 815 from Sydney To Los Angeles. All though there are 48 of them, the focus is on 15 odd characters who form the cream of the show. The main characters Jack Shephard, Kate Austen, John Locke, Hugo Hurley, James "Sawyer" Ford, the Kwons, Desmond, Sayid do justice to their roles respectively. My favourites are Hugo who takes care of the humour part of this racy adventure and Sawyer who is the bad boy of the group and his use of nicknames to address others although might be a cliche, but is nothing but amusing.

The first season is a bit boring and the final episode unravels some mysteries in the island, they crash and the show is off. Another character that must be talked about is Benjamin Linus who is the real bad guy of the show and his character is designed with perfection. I would rate him as high as T-Bag from Prison Break who has set a whole league for himself up there after his performance.

Although the reality of the show is compromised with concepts like the "smoke monster", time travelling and the Island that actually "moves", the show has every ingredient to it to blow the charts off and become the best soap opera ever to hit the television sets. I was rather disappointed to see Ana Lucia, a hot latina cop played by Michelle Rodriguez (that pilot lady from Avatar) die early in the show coz that chick was worth gawking at.

As many as 11 directors were used through the span of 6 years to direct the episodes and every director has gone about his job with expertise and a clear vision and this reflects on the show. The cast does not have a lot of well known faces(for me) excepting for Ana and Jack who is played by Matthew Fox. Fox is the lead character and he is offered a solid support from Kate(played by Lilly,E)

And I would like to state that this show has transformed from a soap opera to an Epic. The cast is excellent, plot - awesome, creative direction, emotions, romance, fun and tons of adventure, the show has got every thing and I would give it 9.4/10 and I recommend every one to check this out, coz this is worth watching.

The Hunter

It was just another day and at 12 midday, the temperature couldn't be hotter and there was I, on a call with my mom for just 5 mins and I couldn't stand the heat. 9 hours later, the rain God felt pity on us and it was pouring like hell, so I ran to pick up my clothes. When I was returning, there he was standing majestic, not caring about anyone or anything. He was.... The Hunter.

Alright, this post is about my bike aka The Hunter. I am a guy and so I am obviously addicted to bikes. I must say, I am one of those lucky lads to get a motorbike during school days itself. It was during my 11th during which I learnt that I was going to get a bike and true to his word, my dad brought home the bike he got for me - Platina.

To write on how he looks, its a plain and a typical bike. He does not sport a racy look, not so macho like other ones which are huge just to push nowadays and is definitely not a catch among the ladies, but he is very special to me and makes me feel comfort and safe whenever I ride him.

So whenever I am on my bike I feel good, safe and always in control. I sense a weird connection with my bike and I actually think he understand me. The thing about him is that he has been with me and has seen almost everything I have come across. It is like he is like my best friend who is always silent.

He aint afraid of the rain and heat and all he needs is just a kick and he is away like a storm. Just like me, he is not much into the looks and so I never clean it which actually adds up to his rugged and "Hunter" look. He never screws me up in the middle of the ride. The crazy feeling we share is mutually exclusive and call me crazy but I always get the feeling that he has got my back always.

I never will give him up for any other bike because , Bikes may come and bikes may go...But my Hunter stays with me forever...

*I have referred my bike as "He/Him" coz he is more than just a bike to me.
