This may be one of the most boring posts ever from me as it does not involve sports, women or a movie. Everyday when I wake up, I used to think how the world would be if I were a mutant like Wollverine or a superhero like the lightning or anyone for that matter. Later, I come down to reality and face the fact that such things are just the imaginations and there is no such thing as the "super"humans.
I, like many millions around the globe have been gifted with a pair of arms and legs and I am fortunate to have no shortcomings on my body parts. Even then the world and life seems so tough, every defeat pushes me down like hell and every time I go down, I start searching for comfort some where and one such instant, when I was standing in a very busy road trying to cross the road, a couple crossed by me. They were blind. That did not stop them from being just inside the house. The traffic was at the worst and there they were, trying to sneak through it with a stick.
This post does promote any campaign or is not for any cause but to make the point clear that these people who are termed as the "physically challenged" is not fair. It is just an under statement, as they face challenges at almost everything and the correct term to address them would be "superhumans" as their survival in this world alone proves that, they are winners.
Anything more than that, the laurels they bag, the record they break, the paralympics greats are just too good to term in a single word or a phrase. Life is too darn hard for them and all they do is that, they give the finger to life and move on. When everyone has to start from point 0 in their life, they start from point -50 and yet they go ahead with zeal and determination.
If you are searching for inspiration to go up, do big and make a mark. Instead of attending personality camps or conferences or any speeches, spend a day at an ashram or a blind school and suddenly the world seems a better place to you and there is hope. There is always hope.
Every single case study about the challenged, every single instant that we come across and every single person that makes it big all lead to a single undeniable fact. They are down on health, down on morale, down on every damn thing they want. Instead of giving it in, they fight, they fight hard, they fight so f**king hard even life becomes kind to them.
Bottomline : The more challenged they are, the better they get.
They, indeed are the super humans
